Dear Potential Rushee, You are entering quite an exciting time; joining a fraternity can be one of the most fulfilling and fun experiences of a man's life. It allows you to meet a vast array of new people, provides countless opportunities for networking, and of course, will allow you to get the most out of your college experience. One joins a fraternity during rush week, where guys who are interested in Greek life go to Greek Row on UofL's campus to enjoy free food, events, and meet the brothers of all campus fraternities. Fraternity rush is a relaxed, laid-back, and real environment in which to meet your potential new brothers. If you click well with a fraternity, they can invite you to their bid night, where they will officially ask you to become a pledge in their chapter. I sincerely hope you give Beta Theta Pi a serious look.
