The Brothers of Beta Theta Pi hold themselves to a higher academic standard then the average collegiate man. The cultivation of the intellect is a principle that all brothers hold dear. This is reflected by the outstanding men of our chapter who exceed expectations and set examples in and out of the classroom. Brothers not only work diligently on their own time, but constantly push their fellow Beta to new heights of academic achievement. All brothers are made aware during their pledge semester that they are a student first and encouraged to study and work together in order to make better scholars, leaders, and cultured individuals.

Beta Theta Pi has become a mainstay in the upper echelon of chapter GPAs among fraternities at UofL. Our brothers have a wide variety of majors including physics, several types of engineering, education, sports administration, music therapy, and economics. If you're ever having trouble in a class, it's a good bet that one of our brothers has taken it before and can give you a hand.
